My name is Maryam. I am a licensed psychologist with a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology.

I have extensive experience in psychoanalytic psychotherapy under supervision. I am currently in a psychoanalytic training program at the Canadian Psychoanalytic Society (CPS-QE) in Montreal.

I see psychotherapy as a collaborative and dynamic journey that helps people realize unleashed capacities, heal wounds and develop better relationships.

During the process of psychotherapy, we deeply explore unresolved issues, unwitting interferences, or repressed trauma.

By pursuing the unconscious processes which underlie your relationship with yourself and others, you will begin to gain a deep insight into the latent and dysfunctional patterns and will enjoy the freedom to actualize the desired changes in your life.

I strive for a therapy environment wherein you experience being supported, understood, and encouraged. Together, we can identify and tackle the barriers that are eschewing the possibilities of living authentically.

My expertise is in depression, anxiety, interpersonal issues, childhood trauma, post-traumatic stress disorder, personality disorders, complex grief, loss, and bereavement.

Moreover, my experience with immigrants allows me to work with their challenges and adjustment problems.
