My Areas of Expertise

I Can Also Help With
Hello! My name is Khaoula, and I am a licensed R.N with an M.A/Ph.D. (C) in Psychology from the University of Ottawa, member of the CPA, completing supervision for OPQ at Blake Psychology.
My diverse clinical and academic experiences have led me to believe that “no one shoe fits all,” and so I take an eclectic Evidence-Based approach drawing from Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, and Attachment theory while also employing aspects of Mindfulness and Emotion-Focused Therapy.
I understand that opening up and entrusting another person can be daunting, overwhelming, and difficult at times. So, I place a strong emphasis on compassion, warmth, and value the process of getting to understand you on a deeper level within a safe environment – where trust and acceptance will be held to high standards.
Therapy will be both emotionally explorative and solution-focused, so we can better understand your experiences and work together on developing the skills that best fit your needs and address your specific life challenges.
I’m looking forward to working with you on your journey of healing and self-discovery.
